If selected, the NHS Jazz Ensemble will perform at MAJE State Finals alongside other gold medalists from the Northeast, Southeast, Central, and Cape Cod Senior Jazz Festivals.

Students are selected annually through a rigorous, statewide audition process in January. Those selected for All State are among the top high school musicians in the Commonwealth and will rehearse in Worcester and perform at Boston Symphony Hall.

The NHS Symphonic Band and Concert Band perform in an adjudicated concert festival at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the Foxborough HS auditorium.

If selected, the NHS Concert Band and/or Symphonic Band will perform at this event alongside other MICCA gold medalists.

The NHS Chorus, Chorale, Concert & Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, String Orchestra, and Chamber Strings travel overseas to sightsee and perform for a week.

The NHS Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Lab, and Jazz Ensemble perform at 7 p.m. in the Needham HS auditorium.

All NHS performing arts students (e.g., band, strings, chorus, theater) perform together in a special end-of-year concert at 7 p.m. in the NHS cafeteria.
